Hispanic Chamber calls for nominations
Awards Luncheon to honor SA remarkable Women
The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is hosting an inaugural recognition and luncheon awards event titled, “Making a Mark on the World – Recognizing Women who Inspire, Innovate and Impact the World Around Us.”
The event will be held at noon, Thursday, October 14th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 600 E. Market Street.
San Antonio’s First Lady, Erica Lira Castro, is the event honorary chair. “Throughout the country and throughout the great city of San Antonio, there are women who are unsung heroes, and are quietly and notably making their mark on the world,” says Mrs. Castro.
“We invite San Antonians to identify and honor these incredible women. We want to pay tribute to these women who day in and day out, without fanfare, are making significant contributions to the community,” says Norma Martinez Lozano, Chairman of the Board of the Hispanic Chamber.
Mrs. Castro and the Hispanic Chamber encourage the public to nominate remarkable women by visiting www.sahcc.org to download, complete and submit a nomination form. For more information, call this Hispanic Chamber at (210) 225-0426. Deadline for nominations is October 1st, 2010.
