Reach Out to Dropouts Program draws hundreds of volunteers

The Reach Out to Dropouts Program drew hundreds of SAISD teachers, counselors & other volunteers to walk the various school areas to knock on doors of known school dropouts to encourage them back to class. Mayor Phil Hardberger, State Rep. Mike Villarreal & JP Pct. 1 Monica Caballero also participated and concentrated on the area around Brackenridge Hight School.
