Railroad Commissioner Williams nominated for Media award

Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams (photo) has been nominated for the Austin American-Statesman’s Texas Social Media Awards. Of the many nominees, the top 25 will be recognized as the top social media users in the state.

Will you take a minute and go to the
Statesman’s website and comment on why you think Michael Williams should be recognized?

As you know, Michael is known nationally as one of the top political figures in his use of web 2.0 and social media technologies. His use of emerging technologies are an integral part of his work in his efforts to make every-day use of new media in politics and government.
