SAMA presents Greek & Roman Family Day, March 1st

Greek and Roman Family Day, Sunday, March 1st from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Free with Museum admission

Celebrate SAMA’s collection of ancient Greek and Roman art with fun activities for the whole family!

Kids can work on art projects like Medusa masks, building a Greek temple and Roman mosaics, then play with roman army re-enactors Legion X Fretensis.

With Legion X, kids can dress up in Greek and Roman costume and participate in a Legionary Olympics.

Scheduled events:
2 pm – Legionary Olympics – Led by members of the Legion X Fretensis
3 pm – Talk on Ancient Coins – by Terry Nix of Legion X Fretensis
4 pm – The 27 Minute Odyssey. A Play by William Razavi
