31st Annual La Vernia Bluebonnet Fest, Sat. May 16th

Mark you calendar for Saturday, May 16th, @ 10 a.m. for the 31st Annual La Vernia Bluebonnet Fest.

This event has all the attributes of a fun filled day for the whole family featuring our La Vernia Mighty Bear Band and the newly crowned Miss. La Vernia and her Court leading the Parade on over to the City Park.

Once there you can frolic at the Carnival and enjoy a Choo-Choo Train ride around the walking track complete with Cotton Candy and Funnel Cake, enjoy shopping at the many vendors booths and delight in all the traditional festival foods you crave.

Also at the Fest, Volley Ball Tournament, a Live Auction, many Antique Car Clubs will have their cars on display, plus we will have the Helicopter rides again this year for above the city views - you won't want to miss that!

The day ends with a dance under the stars to live music by the fabulous Cactus Country Band so tell all your friends to bring their dancing boots.
