BC Democratic Party hosts old-fashioned filing night party

Bexar County Democratic Party Chair Carla Vela will be hosting an old-fashion filing night party to celebrate the end of filing for the 2008 Primary Election. There is a rumor that one of the Democratic presidential candidates will be in town and just may be stopping by to greet the local activists.
According to Ms. Vela the tradition of having a pot luck party after close of filing was lost some years ago and we are bringing that tradition back. This is a time when the recently filed candidates can meet with the party activists and each other as the campaign season commences.
