The Family Service Association of San Antonio, Inc. hosted a fundraiser at the San Antonio County Club, Friday, March 2.

The mission of Family Service is to end child abuse, neglect, drug & alcohol addiction, poverty, family strife, inadequate child care, gang violence, dropping out of school, the isolation of seniors and other social ills that threaten the peace and integrity of home, schools and communities.

During the fundraiser, mothers & sons or daughters, fathers & sons and/or daughters or both parents & children walked the makeshift runway in a family fashion show.

Later after dinner, there was a live auction which raised thousands of dollars to fund the family service budget for the upcoming year.
