The Cesar Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation celebrated its 3rd Annual Youth Breakfast, Saturday, March 24th at Pico de Gallo Mexican Restaurant.
The Program featured the Greater Faith Institutional Church Drill Team, prayer by the President of the American Indian Movement Juan Macias, words of encouragement by President of the Cesar E. Chavez Legacy Educational Foundation; Jaime Martinez, songs by Liza Ybarra and a message by former migrant worker Christina Rodriguez.
UTSA Professor Dr. Rudy Rosales and Judge Monica Guerrero also addressed the crowd. National LULAC President Rosa Rosales was a featured speaker.
Claudia Sanchez; student organizer, introduced the Mistress of Ceremonies Bishop Rosa Wilson, co-pastor, along with Bishop Glen Wilson of the Greater Faith Institutional Church.
Carolina Rodriguez thanked the crowd in behalf of her husband Congressman Ciro Rodriguez for participating in the program.
