Guadalupe "Lupe" Davila, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and activist in the community, was honored when our Lord called her home to be reunited with her loving parents, late husband, sister, daughter and grandchild, on Sunday, March 18th.
It is with great honor that Lupe served her community and gave of herself selflessly. Lupe is survived by her sons, Gilbert & Rudy Davila, Toby Ybarra, Jr., Santiago & Anthony Ybarra; daughters, Rachel Rodriguez, Yolanda Vasquez, Viola Leal, Grace Solano, Rosa Linda Contreras, Herlinda Ybarra and Effie Romero; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, Elvira Gomez & Amelia Garza and loving friends.
"Amá, te recordaremos y siempre estará en nuestros corazones. Hasta que nos encontremos otra vez." Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21st from 1-9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 22nd for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
