Local Bexar County Democrats form coalition to bring presidential candidates to the Alamo City soon

A number of local Bexar County Democrats met at Pico de Gallo Mexican Restaurant recently to discuss the future of the Bexar County Democratic Party and form a new coalition of local Democrats to bring presidential candiates to the Alamo City.

Attorney Mike Watts told the group he sent personal invitations to all the Presidential candidates to visit San Antonio during the next two months.

Watts is sponsoring a fundraiser for presidential hopeful, former Senator John Edwards, March 7th at his home in the Dominion which may also include a rally in a local venue.

Those who attended the meeting included: Moses Suarez, JoAnn Ramon, Heather Ramon Ayala, Christian Archer, Mike Watts, Eastside activists Mary & Vincent Garcia, Debra Spence, Pastor Rosa Wilson, & T. C. Calvert and others.
