Former Speaker to address Texas Republican Convention

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (photo) to Speak at the 2008 Republican Party of Texas Convention

The Republican Party of Texas would like to announce former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as a guest speaker at the Texas state convention. Speaker Newt Gingrich will be speaking Friday, June 13th at 1:30 p.m. during the General Assembly and is expected to be a big draw for Texas delegates.

“We are proud and honored to host former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich at our state convention. He is a source of inspiration to conservatives around the nation and continues to demonstrate his determination and commitment to helping the Party win in November,” said Tina Benkiser, Chairman of the Texas G.O.P

The 2008 Republican Party of Texas State Convention will be held June 12th-14th in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center .
