How far have we come, 54 years after Brown V. Board

Is Black America in Educational Crisis?

26% increase in the number of Black Students leaving High School before graduating, 86-2004.

Only 18% of 25-39 year old African-Americans have college degree compared to 30.8 percent of whites in same age group.

7% Decline in College Matriculation. 62% of African -Americans graduating from High School in 2004 entered in College. In 2007 that number dropped to 55.7 %.
