Well, it is that time again. For those of you that have helped support the 100 Club Spaghetti dinner in the past thank you. For those of you that this the first time getting the e-mail, thank you in advance for your support.
The 100 Club is a non-profit organization that benefits fallen Firefighters and Police Officer families. www.100clubofsanantonio.org
Everything the 100 Club does is based on contributions. I know that times are tough for everyone. About 10 years ago the Christopher Columbus Italian Society decided to have a fundraiser for the 100 Club.
You guessed it, spaghetti. Ever since this event has been a major fundraiser for the 100 Club. Last year through corporate sponsorships and ticket sales we were able to raise over $24,000. We also served a little over 3000 plates of spaghetti and homemade meatballs. This money was divided up between the children of Firefighters and Police Officers killed in the line of duty and added to their trusts.
On Sunday, July 13th starting at 11 a.m. with continued service until 6 pm. (don't wait until 6 because it will be all gone) we will be serving a heaping plate of spaghetti with meatballs, bread, and a salad for only $7.00 per plate. You can either dine in and enjoy the atmosphere or you can bring a container and get the spaghetti to go.
If you don't know the meatballs are all made from scratch and are rolled by hand the Friday before. The sauce is also made from scratch which makes this the best plate of spaghetti and meatballs you will ever have.
The event takes place at Columbus Hall located at 100 Piazza Italia.
If you are interested in becoming a corporate sponsor or know of any businesses or individuals that would like to help sponsor the event please let me know. The sponsorships for $500 or more if you would like, all tax deductible, will get your company logo or name on two banners that will hang at the event and you will also be provided with complimentary dinner tickets.
Please visit the 100 Club of San Antonio website www.100clubofsanantonio.org for more information on this group and how to become a member. Also, attached is a flyer you can put up at your business or on your frige to remind you of the event.
I can be contacted back at this e-mail address or on my cell at 326-9686 for pre-sale tickets.
Thanks again for your continued support,
Adam Zeldes
