Join fellow young Democrats as we gather together to watch the returns from the Kentucky and Oregon Democratic Primaries. We'll be gathering at Bennigan's on San Pedro and Loop 410 at 6:30 p.m. If you can't make it, check out our blog- we'll be bloging live from party!

You're also invited to join us as we volunteer for the San Antonio Food Bank. Food Banks across the country have seen a spike in demand for their services. We'll be helping to create food boxes and sort out donated food. Join us on Saturday, May 31st from 1 to 4 p.m. We'll be meeting at the San Antonio Food Bank, 5200 Old Highway 90 West (near HWY 151). BCYD is excited to announce our initiative to register voters. We're going to work hard to increase the number of young voters in Bexar County . First, we have to get our youth registered to vote. But, we can't do this without your help. Join us for our June 4th General Meeting where we will have a staff member from the Bexar County Elections Department deputize you to become an Official Voter Registrar. Check out our calendar for more details.

Lastly, BCYD will be at the Texas Democratic Convention on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th. The Convention is in Austin and we'll be working to sell Young Democrats t-shirts and other items to raise funds for our organization. We need volunteers to travel up to Austin for the day and volunteer in our booth. Conventions are always fun and you'll have an opportunity to see our Texas Democratic Party in action.
