The League of Women Voters held a candidates forum for District 7 Council candidates Justin Rodriguez & Councilwoman Elena Guajardo, Monday, April 16th at the Forest Hills Library on Ingram Road.

Topics covered ranged from water and the environment, infrastructure, the bond package, neighborhood associations, and a question on the candidates thoughts of the San Antonio Council approving the installation of red light cameras in San Antonio.

District 7 borders Balcones Heights at Babcock & Hillcrest where a red light camera is installed and less than 200 feet from Rodriguez's campaign headquarters. Both agreed that they did not think it was a good idea to do so.
