McNeil-Toney-Wright square off in two forums
District 2 Councilwoman Sheila McNeil squared off with her two challengers Keith Toney & Ron Wright at the Claude Black Center on Commerce and at a Mencke Park Neighborhood Association meeting at Lion's Field on Broadway, Tuesday, April 17th.
Topics varied from crime, infrastructure, economic development and the candidates response to voting as a councilmember to install red light cameras on the intesections of San Antonio like Balcones Heights recently.
Wright said he didn't know enough about the issue to respond, Toney said his initial reaction was to vote yes, and Councilwoman McNeil stated that it was too early to determine the positives until more data from Balcones Heights were analyzed. She expressed concern over the legality of the issue.
