BexarMet Delivers Truck-Full of Bottled Water to Emergency Workers in Somerset after Tuesday Night Storm Devastated Area Community
(San Antonio, TX) The Bexar Metropolitan Water District, (BexarMet) today dispatched a truck full of BexarMet bottled water to Somerset, Texas, for emergency crews working around the clock to assist the community in clearing debris, cleaning up the area and helping the community get back on its feet.
Somerset was one of several Texas communities that experienced large-scale devastation in Tuesday night’s heavy storms that left over ten people dead along the Texas border region.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to our neighbors, our customers in Somerset. We hope our donation of bottled water for the emergency workers helps them and the community in their time of need,” BexarMet General Manager F. Gilbert Olivares stated.
