Hannah Davidson Pankowsky book
78-year-old San Antonio resident Hannah Davidson Pankowsky is a Holocaust survivor. As a 10 year old growing up in Poland, Hannah endured the Nazi takeover in Poland only to escape to Russia, then Mexico and finally to the United States. She lives in the Alamo City with her Doctor husband of 56 years.
During a visit to St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Balcones Heights, Hannah told her story to a packed house in the St. Gregory's Recreational Hall. After her address, she visited with parishioners and signed her book, "End of the Storm," detailing her oddessy of survival.
