Join us in our annual campaign to raise 1 million pounds of food and help provide a happy Thanksgiving to thousands of families in need in Southwest Texas. Organize a Food & Fund Drive or make a donation online. You can drop off donations of non-perishable food items at any of the San Antonio area Security Service Federal Credit Union locations during the month of November. KXTN Food & Fund Drive
November 14-16, 2007 ● Red McCombs Ford (IH-10 & Callaghan)
The charismatic Jonny Ramirez of Tejano 107.5 FM Radio will host his annual food drive where he will stay in the parking lot of Red McCombs Ford Dealership day and night until he raises 107,000 pounds of food. You can help to reduce the amount of nights he stays in the parking lot by bringing in your food or monetary donation.

Thanksgiving Food Drive at Sam’s Burger Joint
November 16, 2007 ● 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. ● 330 E. Grayson St., 78215
Matt McCormack & The Rock Bottom Choir with special guests: Chris Taylor, Ruby James, Chris Parish, Jaime Thomas, David Fenley, Philip Gibbs
Minimum $5 donation or 5 cans of food. Doors open @ 7p.m. All ages welcome. All proceeds to benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.

Security Service Federal Credit Union Annual Turkey Round-up
November 17, 2007 ● 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. ● 2 Service Center Locations (IH-10/De Zavala and 1604/281 North)

Security Service FCU is teaming up with the San Antonio Food Bank to give the community an opportunity to donate frozen turkeys and help provide a Happy Thanksgiving to families in need. SSFCU volunteers will be out at two locations ready to take donations. H-E-B will provide refrigerated trailers to store the donations which will then be transported to the San Antonio Food Bank.

Krispy Kreme Turkey Drive
November 18, 2007 ● 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. ● 2 Store Locations (IH-10/De Zavala and 1604/Stone Oak Pkwy)
The San Antonio Food Bank has teamed up with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for the 4th Annual Turkey Drive. Deliver a frozen turkey to participating Krispy Kreme locations and receive a coupon good for a FREE dozen of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

TunaPalooza Concert and Empty Bowls Event
December 1st ● 7 p.m. ● The White Rabbit
Join us for a night of fun and live music benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank sponsored by OLLU Worden School, Center for Service-Learning and Volunteerism. $8 or 8 cans of tuna gets you in. The Volvo Center of San Antonio has teamed up with the San Antonio Food Bank for an opportunity for you to win a New 2008 Volvo C30! Each ticket for the raffle is $100.00. Volunteer Sort-A-Thon
December 7-8th ● 5 p.m. ● SAFB Volunteer Sorting Room
Volunteers will have the unique opportunity to catch up on volunteer hours. The San Antonio Food Bank will host a 24-hour continuous session at our warehouse. Volunteers are able to schedule a time or simply stop by. Stay tuned for more details.

A Night with the Spurs
December 15th
Join the Food Bank for the re-match between the San Antonio Spurs and the Denver Nuggets. Bring the family out to support our championship team and support the Food Bank. The San Antonio Spurs will graciously donate a portion of the tickets purchased through this promotion to the San Antonio Food Bank.
