Domestic Violence victim needs assistance

Debbie Lozano (photo)

In early October, Debra (Debbie) Lozano was shot by her husband in the lung and hip/thigh area. Her thumb was also grazed by a bullet. Their 18 year old daughter was not physically injured but her husband grazed their 17 year old son's stomach with a bullet and beat him with a baseball bat when he tried to intervene.

Their son is doing well physically and both kids were back at school the next week. Amazingly, Debbie is out of the hospital and her body is healing. She is now in a wheel chair. Her hip bone was shattered. The doctors put together a rod and as much bone as they could. They are not yet sure if it will be enough. If not, they will need to do a complete hip replacement but she is expected to be able to walk again in the future.

Debbie and her family are in need of some financial assistance. A benefit fund has been set up for her at any San Antonio Credit Union, Account #835754-76. SACU mailing address is 6061 IH 10 West, San Antonio, Texas 78201.

If you are able to make a contribution to her and her family, please do. They would really appreciate it. Please forward this information to anyone who might be able to assist them.
