The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, 1715 North Zarzamora – 2nd Annual St. Therese Gala, Saturday, December 8th to feature a 6:30 p.m. special performance by the San Antonio Choral Society & the Little Flower Children's Choir, followed by a 7:30 p.m. Dinner & Presentation of St. Therese Awards.

Master of Ceremonies – News-4 WOAI Meteorologist Maclovio Perez
9 p.m. – Fine Art Auction & Closing Reception

Vikki Carr and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hartman will be honored because of their community good work. As examples in the tradition of St. Therese’s “Little Way,” The St. Therese Award honors individuals who epitomize the life lead by our patroness, St. Therese. (The Little Flower) She exemplified the belief that the smallest of actions can have great impact if carried out with the right attitude of heart.

Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Hartman - The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation is receiving the St. Therese award for providing support to the many agencies assisting families who deal with mental and physical disabilities and for serving as a beacon of hope for so many.

Vikki Carr is receiving the St. Therese award based on her support of furthering the mission of the Catholic faith through her generous and continued support of Holy Cross High School, which has been for many years an extension of Catholic education for our Little Flower School.

It is apparent that without her support Holy Cross High School would not have been able to sustain its operations and would have resulted in closing its doors. In the end, this would have been a great tragedy for the youth of the West Side, many of whom have received a solid Catholic education because of your efforts.
Event costs is $175 for individual seats. (only 30 individual seats available)

Table sponsorships are $1,750, $2,500 and $5,000.
