San Antonio has made tremendous strides under the leadership of Mayor Phil Hardberger. Due to terms limits, however, Phil cannot run for re-election and San Antonians will elect a new Mayor in 2009.
It is essential that the next Mayor continue the progress of Mayor Phil Hardberger's tenure and take our city to even greater heights. We are convinced that Julian Castro is best prepared to move our city forward and we invite you to join in supporting Julian for Mayor.
Julian is a strong dynamic leader with a clear vision for growing San Antonio's economy, boosting our city's quality of life, and governing with integrity. As as city councilman, Julian accrued an impressive track record of support for economic development, investment in public infrastructure and transparency in government.
As Mayor, Julian's strong relationship with the City Council, City Staff and the community at large will enable him to unify San Antonians behind a common vision for prosperity.
