Old Mc Donald's Farm (La granja del viejito MacDonald)

Steven Stoli Playhouse

(La granja del viejito MacDonald) a bilingual play adaption of the classic children's song adaption by Larrisa Rynosa.

The Mac Donald farm is busy with plans for the fall. Silas and Mary Mac Donald sing songs and talk about all of their barnyard animals as they teach the children how to say animal names in Spanish.

The simple Spanish word are mixed in this classic story as the children even learn how the animal serves a purpose on the farm. Highly recommended for pre-kinder and kindergarten aged children. Children in the audience are challenged to remember the exact order of all 9 animals as they sing along and enjoy the fun.

Steven Stoli plays Silas Mc Donald, his daughter Larissa Reynosa plays Mary Mac Donald and Jordan Hogan plays all the animals. The original play was written by Paula Jo Peterson who also directs this show.

We are also your official Birthday Party headquarters. The BackYard Theatre philosophy is to introduce young children (ages 2 – 7) to live theatre and show them that theatre can be fun, entertaining and educational.

Paula Jo Peterson makes sure that all shows are written and directed as interactive shows with the children participating in the plot. Over the years, schools from as far as Bandera, Blanco, Kerrville, Hondo, Floresville and Natalia, Texas have made annual trips to the BackYard Theatre.
