Subject: Veterans in the Classroom Job Fair

The 37th Training Wing & Lackland Air Force Base will host a Veterans in the Classroom Job Fair that is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 7th at the Gateway Club, Lackland Air Force Base.

An avenue toexpand educational opportunities for youth from San Antonio andsurrounding areas by assisting retired, retiring and separating militaryveterans and their spouses in pursuing teaching careers. Individualswith a special interest in math, science, and technology are currentlybeing recruited.

Universities, Colleges and alternative teachingcertification programs will be present to answer any questions onbecoming a certified teacher in Texas. Local school districts will alsobe present to talk about upcoming openings in their district.
