Last Day for the Joint-General, Special & Bond Election

Bexar County Young Democrats

It's a busy day in politics! Voters in Indiana and North Carolina are casting their ballots in their state's respective primaries. Everyone will be watching as the returns come in for Indiana and North Carolina . The last two weeks have been interesting to watch as the Super Delegate battle for Senators Clinton and Obama has picked up pace.

Here in Bexar County , today is the last day to vote for the Joint-General, Special and Bond Election.
Early voting sites are open until 8 p.m. today. Election Day is Saturday, May 10. On the ballot are the propositions to extend the Bexar County Venue Tax, various school board and Bexar County incorporated city races, and other local propositions.

The Bexar County Democratic Party is hosting a Swearing in Ceremony tonight for incoming Precinct Chairs. If that's you- we'll see you there! Check out our calendar for more information.

Don't forget about the BCYD General meeting tomorrow- Wednesday. We're meeting at Blue Star Restaurant (upstairs) at 6:30 p.m.
