Event includes announcement of large donation to UTSA College of Sciences

The University of Texas at San Antonio dedicates the new Kleberg Commons area outside the Biotechnology, Sciences and Engineering Building (BSE) and announces a major donation to benefit the UTSA College of Sciences.

Kleberg Commons is a popular outdoor spot for students, faculty and staff, especially those in the UTSA College of Sciences and the UTSA College of Engineering.

Located at ground level on the northeast side of the BSE Building, the 5,500-square-foot area provides a quiet retreat from the rigorous and intense academic environments within the BSE Building and other surrounding science and engineering teaching and research facilities.

Distinguished guests include Kleberg Foundation President Helen Groves and daughter of Robert J. and Helen C. Kleberg, UTSA Development Board member Tom Frost, UTSA President Ricardo Romo and UTSA Provost John Frederick.
