We are collecting 500 Shoe Box Christmas Gifts this year to be given to children in Shelters. Take an empty shoe box, fill it with toys, crayons, coloring books, school supplies, socks, t-shirts, slinky, stuffed animal, small blanket, doll, cars, hair clips, super heroes or anything a 3-17 year old would love to receive, wrap the box (with the cover separately) and you are sure to put a GIANT SMILE on the face of any child. Help us collect 500 boxes - your kindness and generosity will make this Christmas VERY special for boys and girls in Children Shelters.
LEAD a TEAM or a CLASS to collect 100 boxes or more!! Adults and kids can get involved in collecting boxes. It's so easy, so affordable and so rewarding. Kids helping kids is one of the best ways to get your child focused on the needs of others. What a great way to make a significant contribution this Christmas in the life of a child. Put a personal note into your box and make it special. Thank you for partnering up with us this year.....there is power in Unity.
ONE Person CAN make a huge difference and with just one Shoe Box Christmas Gift, YOU can be that person. Even a child or teenager can get involved in this. If you lead a Youth Group, Class, Ministry or Team, this is the perfect community outreach. Get your Group involved and let's exceed 500 Boxes. We CAN - Together we can create smiles and bring joy and happiness to many.

Walker Report Ground Rules
Walker Report receives lots of requests to post upcoming political events as well as other kinds of events and if possible we cover them well. We do have a few rules we live by. A candidate can promote their campaign, but we don't post comments derogatory of their opponent. Also we don't post photos with people with eyes closed, open mouth unless they hold a microphone, or it is in context. We don't promote alcohol or cigarettes or unflattering photos. We are a family blog and adhere to those expectations. Walker Report Editor Steve Walker
