Governor to keynote Hispanic Chamber Gala @ Grand Hyatt

The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that the Honorable Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, will be the keynote speaker for its 80th Annual Installation Banquet. This year, the Hispanic Chamber celebrates its 80th anniversary as the oldest Hispanic Chamber in the United States.

The Governor will deliver his keynote address at the largest business gathering for San Antonio, which in past years has reached unprecedented levels of attendance from elected officials and the business community comprising a list of more than 1,400 in attendance. “We are excited that Governor Perry will deliver the keynote address to our membership on such a momentous occasion for the Hispanic Chamber.

It also reaffirms his commitment to the Hispanic community.” said Ramiro A. Cavazos, President & CEO of the Hispanic Chamber. Also present at the banquet will be San Antonio native and former Hispanic Chamber Chair, the Honorable Esperanza “Hope” Andrade, Texas Secretary of State; newly appointed Speaker of the House, Joseph Straus, also from San Antonio; as well as numerous prominent business, community, and government leaders.

The Installation Banquet will be held at 7 p.m. on Fri. Jan. 30th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, with the keynote address scheduled to be delivered by the Governor at approximately 8:15 p.m.
