Hispanic Journalists

I just wanted to thank all the media and civic organizations who assisted this month in helping me promote the SAAHJ Latino Issues Forum on Saturday, April 12th.

I invite you all to attend and think you would benefit from hearing Dr. Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez, who not only led the national campaign to add Hispanic veterans to Ken Burns PBS Documentary, but also was a founding committee member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Additionally, she has 18 years experience as a reporter with the Boston Globe, Dallas Morning News and WFAA-TV and probably has tremendous insight on the industry as well as valuable connections that could prove beneficial to you in the future.

Could not do it without you. Hope to see you Saturday!
