Fiesta UTSA 2008 Roadrunners join in city's annual celebration

UTSA hosts Fiesta UTSA on the first official day of the Fiesta season, welcoming King Antonio and El Rey Feo to campus. Joining the royal court are UTSA representatives, Priscilla Garcia, Miss San Antonio 2008, and Cecelia Paz Mujica, Fiesta poster designer.

Performances include the Drew Davis Band, the Filipino Student Association, Swordplay fencing club and other UTSA organizations.

Student organizations will sell food, including sausage wraps, egg rolls, jamba juice, gourmet ice cream and Fiesta fare. Proceeds directly benefit UTSA student organizations.

11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday, Apr. 18th, Fiesta Court arrives at 1:15 p.m.
Sombrilla Plaza, UTSA 1604 Campus Public parking at lot 13 off Valero Way – shuttle service is available.
