State Senator Carlos Uresti Hosts Veterans Day Reception Honoring Our Heroes
On Veterans Day, Senator Carlos Uresti is hosting an evening reception at his San Antonio District Office honoring our country's military heroes.
"As a former Marine, I know how important it is for our veterans to have a day that belongs to them and that honors their priceless contributions," said Uresti. "Without the service and dedication of these men and women, life in America would be drastically different. Our veterans, both young and old, face many challenges. This reception, is an annual event, is my way of acknowledging their hard work and sacrifices."
Also joining Senator Uresti will be Carlos Uresti , Jr., the senator's son, a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
