As many of you know, I have authored a handful of 5-signature memos designed to compliment our comprehensive sustainability plan. Chief among these initiatives are:
1) a Fleet Purchasing plan to ensure we are converting our vehicles to hybrid or alternative energy technologies;
2) a model for sustainable communities designed after the Green Chicago initiative; and
3) a framework for a Citizen's Advisory Committee on Environmental Policy to provide input to city staff on strategic programming.
We received tremendous feedback from the participants and look forward to moving ahead with an aggressive, environmentally-conscious agenda.

Global warming is a hoax. This is just a scam to get people to convert things and spend money on things that we do not need. One volcano eruption produces more carbon in the atmosphere than humans could ever produce, EVER. We are actually moving into a period of global cooling.
