Elction Day voting draws very few voters to the polls

L-R: Balcones Heights poll workers Dan Vela for Sheriff candidate Amadeo Ortiz, worker for former Mayor Ed Garza for SAISD Board Member in May, Ortiz, Bustos, Flores signs, Ortiz bumper sticker, worker for former Councilman Kevin Wolff for Commissioner Pct. 3, State Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer & Councilman Justin Rodrigez, poll workers, Joe Ward community center polling place

As of 3 p.m. Election Day, it appears not many voters are rushing to the polls to vote. Balcones Heights Justice Center, Baskin Elementary, Longfellow Middle School & Joe Ward Community Center were showing lackluster participation in the voting process.

Observers anticipate a rush of voters after 4 p.m. when voters get off from work.
