District 7 sponsored Grandparents Day a success

Scores of elderly and not so elderly grandparents swarmed the St. Paul's Community Center on St. Cloud, Friday, September 7th for a Grandparents Day celebration. The party was sponsored by District 7 Councilman Justin Rodriguez. Prizes were presented to those grandparents who had the most children, (16) most grand children (36) oldest person in the room (97) youngest grandfather, (36) and other categories.

Entertainment was provided by a DJ and a group of women dressed up like the 70s dicso band, the "Village People." A dance followed the lunch and presentations.
