Come explore the rich cultural traditions in San Antonio through food, conversation and entertainment at a family-friendly event at the San Antonio Zoo on Sunday, May 22.
In response to the vandalism that occurred across our city last year, Senator
Menéndez and I decided to create this event to help break down barriers and connect us as one community working to make our city a stronger, more compassionate place.
A collaboration among several community partners, including the San Antonio Zoo, Catholic Charities, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the San Antonio chapter of the
Jewish Federation, the San Antonio Peace Center, the Sikh Center of San Antonio & many more. The event is free, but please RSVP by clicking on the link below:

Walker Report Ground Rules
Walker Report receives lots of requests to post upcoming political events as well as other kinds of events and if possible we cover them well. We do have a few rules we live by. A candidate can promote their campaign, but we don't post comments derogatory of their opponent. Also we don't post photos with people with eyes closed, open mouth unless they hold a microphone, or it is in context. We don't promote alcohol or cigarettes or unflattering photos. We are a family blog and adhere to those expectations. Walker Report Editor Steve Walker
