Walker Report Publisher/Editor & Judge Steve Walker keynoted the Woodrow Wilson Elementary (SAISD) Veteran's Day celebration, November 11th to a large crowd of veterans, excited school children, grandparents and parents.
Walker lauded veteran's for their sacrifice, thanked them for their service, and reminded the audience that five current Judges including himself, served their county in Vietnam. Those five judges included: Justice of the Peace, Pct. 2 Bill Donovan, Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3 Keith Baker, Probate Judge Tom Rickhoff and incoming County Judge Bill White.
Walker also visited two third grade classes and answered students questions on what a Justice of the Peace does every day as students tried on the judicial robe.
SAISD Board Member Olga Hernandez also offered a message to the crowd.
