UTSA Downtown Campus welcomes current graduate and evening students and their families
What: Many students taking graduate-level or evening classes at UTSA's Downtown Campus don't often get the opportunity to participate in everyday campus life. The UTSA Office of Students Activities at the Downtown Campus has created a weekend opportunity for the entire family to feel connected to the campus community.
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6th
Where: Bill Miller Plaza, UTSA Downtown Campus, 501 W. Durango Blvd.
Directions : The UTSA Downtown Campus is located along I-35 between Buena Vista Street and Durango Boulevard. Media Parking for this event is at the Frio Street service circle.
Background: Family Day at the UTSA Downtown Campus will take on a carnival atmosphere with crafts, carnival games and interactive demonstrations with the Chemistry Club and Kinesiology students. Families can take an old-time family portrait or enjoy pictures on a giant inflatable chair. Representatives from academic departments, UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures and other offices will provide informational tables to help familiarize students with university services.
