Our SA 2020 journey has reached an important milestone. After five phenomenally well-attended public meetings, community leaders like you have expressed your hopes and aspirations for the future of San Antonio.
Our SA 2020 journey has reached an important milestone. After five phenomenally well-attended public meetings, community leaders like you have expressed your hopes and aspirations for the future of San Antonio.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19th, we will release the final SA 2020 report with a Texas-style BBQ on the Downtown Campus of the University of Texas at San Antonio. It promises to be a celebratory atmosphere as we turn the page from the "Dream It" stage of the visioning effort to the action phase.
On that day, we will announce the first of many exciting community partnerships to move the needle on issues related to education, transportation and other Quality of Life matters. In many ways, the important work toward making San Antonio a leader in the 21st Century global economy is just beginning.
