Alvarado, Gonzalez & Kazen receive SAEN endorsements

L-R: Judicial candidate Rosie Alvarado, (285th) Judge Phil Kazen (227th)

The success of the Bexar County justice system rests on the judges who preside over the many courts that are a key part of the framework.

The experience, integrity, fairness, judicial temperament and work ethic of the candidates are key factors to be considered as voters head out to the polls.

Historically, incumbent judges face few challengers within their own political party when they are up for re-election, and that appears to be the case this year.

This spring there are two contested criminal court races and one contested civil court race in the Democratic primary. Early voting begins Feb. 16 and continues through Feb. 26.
The official primary Election Day is March 2.

Many more contests await voters in the general election.
