The Walker Report has finally hit the 2,000th posting on the blog. Sixteen months and closing in on 88-thousand hits just since January 10th of this year, Walker Report is well on its way to celebrity status. Who knew that last year when we started this blog, we would be where we are today?
What started off as a Democratic blog has blossomed into a community outreach that includes, artwork exhibits, museums, golf tournaments, Spurs, high school Chess tournaments and Debates with statwide elected officials attending, Christian activities, entertainers, singers, actors, historical events, elected officials from both parties, parades, marches, press conferences, neighborhood associations, birthday parties, galas, banquets, campaigns both partisan and non-partisan, grand openings, funerals, working media, veterans activities and protests for and against.
Is it possible to get any better than that? With the addition of three new bloggers to assist in getting the news, (whatever it may be) we anticipate it will do just that. We have two affiliated Democrats and one Republican to blog the political information, so both sides feel equally represented. The three new bloggers can post any other information as well.
We continue the journey. Keep viewing and sending us your information to post and promote your events and activities. Remember the rules about no trashing and bashing political opponents. Terms like, Liberal, Far-Left, Conservative, Neo-Con, Far-Right are acceptable when referencing the other party. Terms like: Extremist, Radical and personal attacks or worse, are not. We maintain our reputation as a family blog by not promoting alcohol, smoking, or inappropriate behavior or language. If it is offensive to a child, it is offensive to us. Like Tino Duran's La Prensa newspaper, we only promote and publish the positive.
Thanks for viewing.
