Quico Canseco has been selected by Right Roots as one of the top challengers in the nation. According to the organization's website for its Political Action Committee (ABC PAC) : These are the challengers and open seat candidates who've proven they're strong enough to take the 16 seats Republicans need to retake the majority. You can support these up and coming stars with your contribution today.
The website is helping to raise awareness of how critical this seat is to winning back the majority. It also singles out Canseco as the party's best to take back the 23rd. The PAC is directing individuals to make contributions to Mr. Canseco in order to help him win the primary. "I appreciate Right Roots helping raise national awareness for this race and assisting us in our fundraising activities," Canseco said.
As was demonstrated in last years race against Henry Bonilla liberals are willing to pour money into the 23rd Congressional District.
