Great Hearts Texas hosts a ribbon cutting @ Temple Beth-El, 9-18
Great Hearts Monte Vista is hosting a Ribbon-Cutting Reception and tours of our inaugural campus.
The mission of Great Hearts Monte Vista, a public charter school, is to foster great-hearted students by educating the whole person in truth, goodness and beauty. Great Hearts Monte Vista offers a tuition- free, academically rigorous, classical liberal arts K-9 school, preparing its graduates for success in the most highly selective colleges and universities in the nation.
Great Hearts Monte Vista endeavors to strengthen the intellectual and moral formation of the student, helping prepare each to be a leader in creating a more philosophical, humane, and just society. Great Hearts was invited to San Antonio by Choose to Succeed and approved by Texas education officials in 2012. The school’s rigorous classical curriculum combined with the Texas TEKS curriculum will provide a winning academic combination for Texas students.
Our guest list includes “Choose to Succeed”, Brackenridge Foundation, major donors, and political dignitaries. We will be welcoming all those who gave so generously to bring this unique educational opportunity to the children of our great city. Great Hearts America CEO, Dan Scoggin, faculty and staff members will be available for interview.
Thursday, September 18th at 5:30-7 p.m.
