Popular High School Teacher Bill Sanchez passes, March 30th

Popular retired McCollum High School/Terrells Middle School Choir Teacher Bill Sanchez recently passed away as hundreds of former students flocked to post comments on Facebook on his passing. As a former fellow faculty member @ McCollum with the same lunch period, I found him funny, witty and an encourager of students. I accompanied Bill and his choir as a chaperone on a field trip to the movies to see a special opening for the students of "Holland's Opus" about a popular music teacher (played by actor Richard Dreyfuss) who made a difference in his students life. Along with his former students we will never forget him.
