St. Paul Alumni Students, Class of 06, make History

Providence High School Class of 2010 Cadet 1st Lieutenant Samantha Mendoza (photo) & Cadet 1st Lieutenant Kimberly Hernandez (photo) make history at Central Catholic’s JROTC program. Both young ladies are alumni from St. Paul School Class of 2006.

Samantha and Kimberly have made history at the all male Central Catholic High School by becoming the first female JROTC Cadet Company Commanders.

Kimberly is Company Commander for the all male cadets, with the exception of one female cadet, Alpha Company. Samantha is Company Commander for the all male cadets Delta Company. (In 2007 Central Catholic JROTC made history by having their first female JROTC Band Commander.)

Both give credit for their strong faith foundation and strong female leadership they received at St. Paul Catholic School .
