It is my privilege to serve as President of this very special business organization. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work for you to grow San Antonio's economy.

It is my great pleasure to announce that Steve Nivin, PhD., has joined our staff as Chief Economist. We have formed a strategic partnership with St. Mary's University, to create a premiere economic research team, the Strategic Alliance for Business and Economic Research (SABER) Institute. In Spanish, "SABER" means knowledge, and that is what we intend to provide the San Antonio business community.

In today's economy, we can't afford to let up or relax, and the Hispanic Chamber believes that now is the most critical time to add value to your membership with us. As Hispanic Chamber members, you will begin to receive a premiere glimpse of vital business data that our staff will generate by offering you a Monthly Economic Report, which will provide an in-depth outlook of the local, state, and U.S. economic picture. These monthly economic outlook reports will be made available to you and more than 1,000 of your fellow members for free.

We know you will take advantage of this opportunity; Steve's talents and economic insights are highly-respected in our community. His work is powerful and it will help you "see" the future before it happens.

Sincerely,

Ramiro A. Cavazos
President & CEO
