I have been approached by a local Latina Republican with a special request. She works for a public organization and recently found out that two of her colleagues are closet Hispanics Republicans. These individuals fear that their superiors could make life difficult for them if they were "outed."

Note to our friends in North Texas: The Bexar County political establishment is dominated by Democrats and a very active Bexar County Democratic party. Hispanic Republicans are a very rare minority and few of us are open about our political orientation. South Texas Republicans is proposing the formation of a new informal society made up of Hispanic Republicans and friends who support these individuals.
