The Southwest Voter Registration Education Project held Latino vote 2007 at the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel, Friday, June 8th.

Keynote speaker California Congressman and Chairman of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus Joe Baca addressed a crowd of over 600 in attendence. Other speakers included: National LULAC President Rosa Rosales, State Senator Leticia van de Putte, Lydia Camarillo, SVREP Vice President and Antonio Gonzalez SVREP President. KWEX-41 Anchorwoman Monica Navarro served as Mistress of Ceremonies.
