National Association of Letter Carriers hold Nat'l Day, 3-24

Dear Brothers/ Sisters and Friends:

The National Association of Letter Carriers along with our friends and our community are holding a National Day of Action to protest the Postmaster General’s decision to cut Saturday mail delivery. Together with the support of the community and our friends, we will have the biggest influence on Congress’s decision on keeping 6 day mail delivery and maintain high service standards.

Date: March 24th @  Maverick Park, 1000 Broadway St. from 2-4 p.m.
Together we will send the message to the Postal Service and Congress; cutting Saturday Mail Delivery is unnecessary and will hurt businesses, communities, and rural Texas. Thousands of jobs will be eliminated, including Veteran’s jobs. Congress caused the Postal Service’s financial problems, send them the message to let the stakeholders work to help the Postal Service serve America and save Jobs.

Come out and support your local Letter Carriers and postal employees, help them save 6 day mail delivery before it’s too late. For more information on the rally call: Homer Hernandez-- 210-744-2602 or - 210-227-0128.
