Councilwoman Jennifer Ramos to announce re-election, 1-30
Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos (photo) to Announce Re-election Bid
District 3 Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos will be officially announcing her candidacy for re-election at an event planned for Sunday January 30th. The event will run from noon until 2 p.m. with the announcement expected at 1p.m.. The event will take place at the VFW Post 9186 located at 650 VFW Blvd. next to the site of the new District 3 Mission Branch Library.
Councilwoman Ramos has served as the District 3 Councilperson since January of 2008 when she was unanimously appointed to fill the final term of then Councilman and now State Rep. Roland Gutierrez. Prior to her appointment, Ramos served as a Trustee on the Alamo Community Colleges Board and was the District Director under Gutierrez.
In May of 2009 Councilwoman Ramos earned her first official term in office when she was elected with no opposition.
