Why are you running for this office? To address the spiraling truancy rate that plagues the local area school districts. Forty percent of my job as a Justice of the Peace will be to address that one issue alone. Students belong in the classroom, not the courtroom. As a retired teacher I will redirect and refocus those truant students back to a classroom or alternate setting.
